Flute Event - Wil Offermans

Wil Offermans presented a flute event at the Landesmusikgymnasium Rheinland-Pfalz (web.musikgymnasium.de) in the wonderful city of Montabaur in Germany. From the morning he worked with about 30 students. The students, guided by their flute-teachers Wolfgang Wendel and Karoline Schaeferdiek, had prepared intensively during the year many of Offermans compositions, mostly ensemble works, but also some solo and duo compositions. Later in the evening they together performed a nearly 90 minutes concerts with the program:
- Luna y Sierra (Wil Offermans solo with all)
- Working Song 1 (two students)
- Working Song 2 (one student)
- Thumpy Improvisation (Wil Offermans solo)
- Eternal Winds (all)
- Yume-Kaze from Made in Japan (one student)
- Honami (Wil Offermans solo)
- Jungle Dance (all)
- Dance with Me (all)
